LEADERSHIP

I’m Amanda, my husband is Justin and my daughters are Emily, a rising 4th grader at Mooreland, and Eleanor, a rising 7th grader who homeschools. My background is in exercise science but I’ve been a stay at home/homeschooling mom since my oldest was born. I’ve been closely involved with various types of education as my children have grown and their needs have changed. Our family has moved around the country quite a bit over the last decade for my husband’s job. We feel lucky to have landed in Carlisle and love the community we have found here. I’m looking forward to this school year and as PTO President, I’m invested in strengthening the connection and communication between the Mooreland students, families, faculty, staff & our surrounding neighbors.

I’m Mallary- I’ve lived in Carlisle for 12 years and I’m a mom to a rising 5th grader, Evan, and a rising 3rd grader, Emeric. I’ve been an active volunteer with the Mooreland Elementary PTO for several years and became vice president last year. I value being able to support both students and teachers. When not working or supporting my kids at soccer, cheer, or basketball, I enjoy travelling and spending time outdoors with my family.

Hi! I’m Amy Brousse. I’m the proud mom of two Mooreland students—Remy, a rising 4th grader, and Andie, who’s about to start kindergarten. My husband, Steve, has enjoyed leading the Mooreland Running Club over the past few years and volunteering with the PTO in various ways. Steve and I are both Carlisle natives and graduates of Carlisle High School, so it’s meaningful for us to now be raising our family in this community. I’m a CPA and work at a local law office in downtown Carlisle. I also enjoy being able to support local nonprofits by sharing my accounting knowledge and experience. As a family, we like running, going on walks, and spending time at the soccer field. We also have two dogs and one cat who keep us on our toes! I’m looking forward to another great year of supporting Mooreland Elementary students, staff, teachers, and the entire school community.

My name is Leigh and my daughter is Emma. She is entering 5th grade at Mooreland. I’ve lived in Carlisle for 11 years and love the small town feel and community. I work at Morgan Stanley in Camp Hill for Bartoli Wealth Management. I spend my free time reading, volunteering, working out and spending time with friends and family. I’m looking forward to the upcoming school year as your PTO Secretary! It’s given me great joy to spend time with parents and students over the last year. I am committed to providing an open platform for students, teachers and parents to connect and grow.

I’m Danelle- My husband Nic and I are both Carlisle natives and our daughter Quinn is going into 5th grade at Mooreland. I’m somewhat new to PTO but this will be my 5th year working at MES as a Kindergarten Aide for Ms. Brown. I love traveling, arts & crafts, sewing, and organizing. I can’t wait for another wonderful year at Mooreland!

Hi! I'm Brittany. My daughters, Isla (4th grade) and Ellie (1st grade), are loving their time at Mooreland, and little Nolan will be joining the CASD herd before we know it! I've been part of the CASD community teaching First Grade since 2012, and teaching young learners is truly my passion. I earned my Bachelor's in Elementary Education and a Master's in Literacy Education from Penn State (We Are!), along with my Reading Specialist certification.

Since college, I’ve loved being involved in meaningful organizations like THON, and that spirit of connection has continued with the Mooreland PTO. For the past four years, I’ve enjoyed supporting our school by helping build strong home-school relationships, advocating for our amazing teachers and students, and bringing fun and community to Mooreland. I'm excited for another great year ahead!
